Activation Help
Step-by-step activation guidance for Windows, Office, Visio, and Project license keys.

Before activation
Check that the product edition, year, device count, and platform match the key purchased. Remove conflicting trial or volume-license versions before installing.
Windows keys
Open Activation Settings, choose Change Product Key, enter the purchased key, and follow the online activation prompts.
Office, Visio, and Project
Use the matching Microsoft installer or account activation flow for the purchased edition. Bind Email variants may require signing in with the correct Microsoft account.
After successful activation
A credential may become bound to the Microsoft account or device used during activation and may not be reusable elsewhere. Store the order number and product details, but never publish the complete credential.
If activation fails
Stop repeated attempts and contact support with the order number, selected variant, system version, and exact error. Support will verify compatibility and review replacement or refund options under the Refund & Replacement Policy.
